Salvation
Can we lose our salvation ??
First we have to ask ourself:
-
am I really born again and saved ??
-
do I know the way of salvation in the Bible ??
-
or am I just a member in some religious group(s) ??
If a person professes faith in Messiah (Christ) and yet falls away or makes no
progress in holiness, it does not mean that he or she has lost his salvation.
It reveals that he or she was never truly born again of water and the Holy Spirit.
Many people are just full of emotion and religion, but they are not saved.
Many false converts show signs of fruit for a while, but then they fall away
because they were never truly born again to begin with.
They went out from us because they were never truly of us.
John 3:5
5 Jesus answered,
“Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God”.
If you are not personally sure, are you born again and saved,
maybe you would like to look for the way of salvation in the Bible.

1 Timothy 4:1-2
4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
In the beginning
What was the very first lie recorded in the Bible ??
It was satan talking to Eve:
Has God indeed said ?? (Genesis 3:1)
And he continued with his lies.
Genesis 3:4
4 Then the serpent said to the woman,
“You will not surely die”.
Yeshua (Jesus) said that satan does not stand in the truth,
because there is no truth in him.
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources,
for he is a liar and the father of it. (John 8:44)
Deceiver
The only one who promised Eve life in disobedience was the great deceiver.
The devil has been deceiving people since then with this lie.
Once saved always saved is just another form of lie from Satan and people have
been believing it for ever since but they will be sadly surprised in one day…
Also, the term eternal security is not in the Bible.
Our salvation is safe in Yeshua (Jesus) as long as we obey Him.
We do not obey to be saved-
we obey because we are already saved.
Although, we all struggle with sinful thoughts, desires and habits-
but we want to obey.
Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me,
‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day,
‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name,
cast out demons in Your name,
and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me,
you who practice lawlessness!’
Selfishness
Yeshua (Jesus) says in John 10:27-28:
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
This is absolutely true, we can trust our lives in the hands of Yeshua (Jesus).
Yeshua (Jesus) always keeps His promises.
We humans are the weakest links.
We can still fall in devil`s traps.
We can turn our backs on Yeshua (Jesus) and backslide to our old sinful lives.
But grace is not a license to sin.
All selfishness in our lives is dangerous to us-
deathly dangerous.
Our selfishness usually brings with it some of the following:
-
Lust
-
Gluttony
-
Greed
-
Sloth
-
Wrath
-
Envy
-
Pride
Proverbs 6:16-19
16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

1 Peter 4:17-18
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God;
and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who
do not obey the gospel of God?
18 Now
“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
Churchianity
Sadly most Christians prove that they are not Yahweh our God’s children
when they continue to live their worldly lives.
Sadly this is most people who profess to be Christian.

Proverbs 6:16-19
16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:
adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath,
selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;
of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past,
that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened,
and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance,
since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God,
and put Him to an open shame.

Hebrews 10:26
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
2 Peter 2:20-21
20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge
of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome,
the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than having known it,
to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
Matthew 12:31-32
31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men,
but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him;
but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him,
either in this age or in the age to come.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
Loss of salvation
So, can we lose our salvation ??
Yes, we can it.
I can lose my salvation.
And you can lose your salvation too.
Salvation is a gift from Yahweh our God and He does not take it away from us.
It is Satan who is trying to steal salvation from us.
Matthew 13:18-23
The Parable of the Sower Explained
18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it,
then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.
This is he who received seed by the wayside.
20 But he who received the seed on stony places,
this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while.
For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word,
immediately he stumbles.
22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word,
and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word,
and he becomes unfruitful.
23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word
and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces:
some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
So, let`s be careful !!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.
And from such people turn away!
Luke 18:7-8
7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him,
though He bears long with them?
8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes,
will He really find faith on the earth?”
