I have to warn you especially for some things. Be careful with people who want to explain Bible to you- without being capable of showing their explanations from Bible. Be careful with all explanations that add or take away from Bible. Be prepared examine every teaching or preaching with your Bible- including mine. If you cannot find them in the Bible, then they are not from Yahweh our God.
If your church (or denomination) does not preach the Gospel with biblical Yeshua (Jesus) and repentance, holiness and hell --> most likely it does not have the Holy Spirit --> and it lacks water baptism and it worships Mary, Pope, your pastor or any other human beings, but it still has tithing as the only one biblical thing and it also has pics, icons and statues of Jesus in the walls- run for your life !!!!
Jesus is an anglicised form of the Greek name Iesous. The spelling of the name Jesus has been in use for less than 400 years. This can easily be seen in the fact that the original 1611 King James Version of the Bible (early printed books, not newer or online versions) spelled our Jewish Messiah`s name Iesous- not Jesus. Just like many other English translations of the Bible before 17th century. This English name Jesus remained uncommon until the 18th century.
A watered down gospel is no gospel at all. If the biblical gospel message is altered or refuted, it is just another gospel- and no gospel at all. Perhaps one of the all time greatest delusions in the Christian world, is the innumerable number of people who are under the impression that, in order to be forgiven their sins and inherit eternal life, all they have to do is believe Yeshua (Jesus) died for their sins on the cross.
To be a follower (or disciple) of Yeshua (Jesus) means to believe that what Yahweh our God says in His Word is true- even if everyone around you disagrees. As followers (or disciples) of Yeshua (Jesus), we always have to make great efforts to teach the Bible instead of manmade Christian doctrines. We should believe in the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible. But are we Bible parrots ?? Are we parroting our Bibles ??
Constantine became Roman Emperor in 306 AD and ruled for 31 years. But also Constantine had a problem. What was he to do with the followers of Yeshua (Jesus) who were spreading rapidly ?? They did keep their strong faith even if they were tortured and killed. So far all Roman Emperors had persecuted the early followers of Yeshua (Jesus)- but were not capable of stopping them. Constantine realized that he cannot stop them either. He did not join them but he made a new religion around another and different Greco- Roman Jesus beside them. With another spirit and another gospel.
Yahweh our God`s part in Salvation: 1. Yahweh our God sent His Son Yeshua (Jesus). 2. Yeshua (Jesus) shed His Blood. 3. Yeshua (Jesus) died for our sins. 4. Yeshua (Jesus) rose again on the 3rd day. Human beings` part in Salvation: 1. Hear the Gospel. 2. Believe the Gospel. 3. Repent of sin and turn back to Yahweh our God. 4. Reach up to water baptism into Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ). 5. Get a gift of the Holy Spirit. 6. Confess faith openly. 7. Remain faithful and obey Yeshua (Jesus).
The Scriptures teach us that God is more concerned with cleansing the inward man than our outward man. Those that only have a form of godliness without inward transformation deny His power. Yeshua (Jesus) strongly rebuked those who merely attempted to cleanse the outer man without allowing God to deal with the heart.
If you go nowadays to a Christian church or event, you will not find Yeshua (Jesus) there. You will not find salvation or water baptism and the Bible is just a book among books. Hell and sin is not mentioned and without speaking is also repentance. So sad but true...
“Follow Me !!” is a call to obedience. We obey Yeshua/ Jesus because we are already saved- NOT to be saved !! It is no mere invitation, but an imperative command. Those who heard the words of Yeshua/ Jesus immediately left everything to follow Him. ”Follow Me!!”
The problem is, this story is full of lies. The events surrounding the birth have been retold so many times and in so many ways— in plays, poetry, books and movies— that most people have a distorted view of the true events. The only accurate record is found in the Holy Bible, God’s Word.
