Jesus is an anglicised form of the Greek name Iesous. The spelling of the name Jesus has been in use for less than 400 years. This can easily be seen in the fact that the original 1611 King James Version of the Bible (early printed books, not newer or online versions) spelled our Jewish Messiah`s name Iesous- not Jesus. Just like many other English translations of the Bible before 17th century. This English name Jesus remained uncommon until the 18th century.

We can find them in the Leviticus 23.
