The first 4 Commandments tell us how to love Yahweh our God. The rest of the 10 Commandments tell us how to love other people. If the 10 Commandments are not written in our hearts with a branding iron, we must ask ourselves: Do I really have the Holy Spirit ?? Do I listen and obey the Holy Spirit ?? Does my church teach from the Bible ?? Do I read my Bible enough ?? Today`s Christians have totally forsaken nearly all of the 10 Commandments.
Even today people are still celebrating this pagan holiday and taking great pleasure in doing so. Every year, millions of families look forward to non- biblical Thanksgiving so they can get together with family and give thanks to God for all their blessings. Regretfully just like the pagans of Ancient Rome. Thanksgiving is a very very good example of religious manmade traditions with no even shaky connection(s) to the Bible. The true story doesn't have quite the same fuzzy feelings associated with it as the one where the Indians and Pilgrims are all sitting down together at the big feast... Thanksgiving had brutal and bloody beginning !!
We can without fail call our earthly father as father. It is expected of us, by the 5th Command, to honour our parents everyday alike, irrespective of the circumstance. Yeshua (Jesus) harshly attacked a custom of the Jews, for they called the rabbis as fathers. He attacked similarly against all religious present-day Christian leaders too. We all have just One Heavenly Father and He is in heaven.
When did Halloween begin and why ?? How did it originate ?? Was it of pagan origins or is there something more behind Halloween history ?? How did it get to be so widely observed ?? And what does God think about it ?? Does God view Halloween as clean innocent fun ??
The Holy Convocations of Yahweh: When Yahweh says we are to celebrate His Feasts, He uses a Hebrew word that means appointed times or appointments. They are the Holy Convocations or Sacred Assemblies of Yahweh. There are 7 festivals that Yahweh prescribed in the Bible- 4 in the spring and 3 in the fall and the Shabbaths all year around. We can find them in the Leviticus 23.
The problem is, this story may be almost entirely wrong. The events surrounding the birth have been retold so many times and in so many ways— in plays, poetry, books and movies— that most people have a distorted view of the true events. The only accurate record is found in the Holy Bible, God’s Word.
