If a person professes faith in Messiah (Christ) and yet falls away or makes no progress in holiness, it does not mean that he or she has lost his salvation. It reveals that he or she was never truly born again of water and the Holy Spirit. Many people are just full of emotion and religion, but they are not saved. Many false converts show signs of fruit for a while, but then they fall away because they were never truly born again to begin with. They went out from us because they were never truly of us.
I have to warn you especially for some things. Be careful with people who want to explain Bible to you- without being capable of showing their explanations from Bible. Be careful with all explanations that add or take away from Bible. Be prepared examine every teaching or preaching with your Bible- including mine. If you cannot find them in the Bible, then they are not from Yahweh our God.
A watered down gospel is no gospel at all. If the biblical gospel message is altered or refuted, it is just another gospel- and no gospel at all. Perhaps one of the all time greatest delusions in the Christian world, is the innumerable number of people who are under the impression that, in order to be forgiven their sins and inherit eternal life, all they have to do is believe Yeshua (Jesus) died for their sins on the cross.
There was a time in my life when I did not read the Bible very much. I was seeking Yeshua (Jesus) but in all the wrong places. I only visited different Christian religious events. They were very entertaining to spend my time- but the Bible were in bit part. Preaching and teaching was lousy, very lousy. On the other hand, collecting money was very intensive. After all, there I realized that if I want to know the truth in the Bible, I have to read it. Regularly, often and much. I started with Yeshua`s (Jesus`) words in the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.
The term "rapture" is used nowhere in the Bible. The Christian false teaching the "rapture before tribulation"- often called "the blessed hope"- is more hoax than hope and it is absolutely not biblical. It is the teaching of a pre-tribulation, pre-Antichrist, pre-mark of the Beast rapture of the Christian Church to heaven. It sounds nice and is very pleasing to the flesh, but undermines God's purposes for His end-time Congregation. It has created a people who are not prepared to face persecution and the difficult times ahead. It has also robbed a sense of urgency for believers to get themselves ready to give answers to the unsaved. True followers of Yeshua (Jesus) should want to be here as long as possible in order to win as many to Yeshua (Jesus) as possible.
