Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples, “You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.” A lot really happened after Yeshua (Jesus) said this to His disciples. A lot can happen in one Passover week. A lot can happen in 3 days and 3 nights.
Jesus is an anglicised form of the Greek name Iesous. The spelling of the name Jesus has been in use for less than 400 years. This can easily be seen in the fact that the original 1611 King James Version of the Bible (early printed books, not newer or online versions) spelled our Jewish Messiah`s name Iesous- not Jesus. Just like many other English translations of the Bible before 17th century. This English name Jesus remained uncommon until the 18th century.
We need the Torah !! I could keep on telling you these examples for hours- but I think I made my point. We need the Torah for our direction, instruction or teaching- meaning guidance and protection in our lives. It does not matter, what you think or feel. We need the Torah. If you like to do what ever you like, and the Torah is not written in your heart, ask youself: Am I saved ?? Or am I just a Christian pew warmer in a church ??
To be a follower (or disciple) of Yeshua (Jesus) means to believe that what Yahweh our God says in His Word is true- even if everyone around you disagrees. As followers (or disciples) of Yeshua (Jesus), we always have to make great efforts to teach the Bible instead of manmade Christian doctrines. We should believe in the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible. But are we Bible parrots ?? Are we parroting our Bibles ??
The first 4 Commandments tell us how to love Yahweh our God. The rest of the 10 Commandments tell us how to love other people. If the 10 Commandments are not written in our hearts with a branding iron, we must ask ourselves: Do I really have the Holy Spirit ?? Do I listen and obey the Holy Spirit ?? Does my church teach from the Bible ?? Do I read my Bible enough ?? Today`s Christians have totally forsaken nearly all of the 10 Commandments.
Even today people are still celebrating this pagan holiday and taking great pleasure in doing so. Every year, millions of families look forward to non- biblical Thanksgiving so they can get together with family and give thanks to God for all their blessings. Regretfully just like the pagans of Ancient Rome. Thanksgiving is a very very good example of religious manmade traditions with no even shaky connection(s) to the Bible. The true story doesn't have quite the same fuzzy feelings associated with it as the one where the Indians and Pilgrims are all sitting down together at the big feast... Thanksgiving had brutal and bloody beginning !!
The problem is, this story is full of lies. The events surrounding the birth have been retold so many times and in so many ways— in plays, poetry, books and movies— that most people have a distorted view of the true events. The only accurate record is found in the Holy Bible, God’s Word.
